Absolutely over the moon to announce we have a Cold War Steve Annual coming out!
This has been an idea kicking around the office for as long as I can remember, filed next to Cold War Steve fan club, convention and Christmas No.1. So it is incredibly exciting to finally see this come to life!
Acting as a round up of the year, or in the case of this bumper first edition, 18 months of artwork from the mighty vaults of Christopher Spencer. A collection of his best work, his most cutting visual commentary, most surreal, hilarious and tragic depictions of those in power and the state of the world.
Plus somehow we managed to gather an A-list cast of writers including James O’Brien on Partygate, award winning novelist Sheena Patel, Jason Williamson of Sleaford Mods, John Sweeney live from Ukraine, Kit De Waal invoking Jonathan Swift, comedian Stewart Lee, and former international goalkeeper Neville Southall in conversation with Liverpudlian spoken word hero PJ Smith AKA Roy.
